What a line-up!
We're down to about six weeks until auction time in Des Moines. Dennis Polk and I are visiting with people every day about consigning tractors and providing information to potential buyers. The line-up of tractors is looking very good this year. I'm happy to see some different colors in the line-up and we have a great selection. The Moline cabbed Model R is a great tractor In the John Deere line. We have a very good selection of tractors, including some quite rare tractors: The HNH. Only 37 built. This is Number 37. The 600 Industrial. Nobody's ever seen a side console 600 Industrial. That, plus the tractor's very good condition, make this a rare offering. The 430 forklift crawler.The GPO. The GP wide-tread side steer. The list goes on and on.
We've consigned some good pedal tractors of all different colors for the memorabilia auction. We have a lot of very good paper on the memorabilia auction. And it'll be fun to watch the "Stag on the Hill" lithograph sell.
This year we'll have a two-day sale: Parts and implements at 9:30 on Friday, July 25; memorabilia at 1 p.m. the same day. Tractors will start selling at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 26. It's not too late to consign, so give us a call and let us know what you're thinking.

May 22 Ad Deadline
We're coming down to the wire again for national advertising for this summer's Heartland Auction in Des Moines. May 22 is the deadline. If you're thinking of consigning and you want your item to be advertised in Green, Two-Cylinder and Farm Collector magazines, you need to contact me by May 22.
Items consigned after that date will be advertised on this website and in Dennis Polk's mailings.
We are consigning tractors and memorabilia daily and it looks like we're going to have another good sale. Also, please keep in mind that on Friday morning, July 25 we will sell parts, implements and a few "dead row" tractors. Memorabilia will be sold on Friday afternoon, and the main tractor auction will follow on Saturday morning.
There are a lot of sales, and a lot of good sales, on the schedule this spring and summer. But there aren't many consignment auctions, especially consignment auctions that are professionally managed, internationally advertised and held at a good, centrally located site. Back from Bridgeport
I'm just back from the big auction at Bridgeport, Neb. It was quite a sight to behold. A lot of tractors, lot of parts, lot of rare tractors. It was great to see friends from all over the country. It appeared to me that the Kruse outfit, as well as Bill Seaworth, did an excellent job not only in organizing this massive collection but also in auctioning and helping people load out.
There was a lot of thought before the auction that tractors would end up going cheap but that was not the case. As with almost any estate auction, the prices were high and things sold very well.
Plans are in high gear for our auction at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines and we're expecting another great event. People are calling with consignments of tractors and memorabilia. If you're considering consigning an item, contact me as soon as possible. Advertising is the key! If we can advertise your piece, we help you achieve the highest sale price. There is a lot of foreign spending going on right now. In order to get a share of that money, sellers need to reach out through advertising. So give us a call, and be sure to mark July 25-26 on your calendar!

Parts Auction on March 15
We're gearing up for our next event: A Parts Auction at 10 a.m. on March 15 at the Old McManus Ranch in Illinois City. If you're in Moline for the Gathering of the Green, be sure to attend this event on Saturday just 30 minutes west of Moline. You never know what you'll need for that next restoration project!
